As we work through the planning and layout of the event, stalls are subject to change.
You will be notified if any changes to the layout affect your booking.
Please read the below instructions carefully before you book
1 – Making a booking
- Prior to booking you must read the ‘Trader Heads of Terms’, ‘Trader Terms & Conditions’ and ‘Green Trader Initiative Policy’ available above.
- You are applying to trade for 3 days; Friday 16th, Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May 2025.
- When booking you will need to tell us the nature of your stall and which zone you would like to trade in (reference the site plan available above).
- Upon booking please include your first choice AND second choice in case your first choice has
sold out. In the circumstance that both your chosen areas have sold out we will contact you to offer any other available spaces. - Due to a high demand of applicants, priority is given to Cornish producers. We retain the right to
maintain a fair balance of participation. - Please refer to the map found at the top of this page to see the different zones available.
2 – Payment Terms
- Application Deposit – Upon application, you’ll need to make a £150 + VAT deposit payment. If we are unable to offer you a pitch in the area(s) requested we will refund this deposit.
- Trader Deposit – Upon acceptance of your pitch you will be sent an invoice for 50% of the value of your pitch less the amount already paid. This deposit will confirm your pitch at the festival.
- Balance – The remaining balance must be paid by 28th March 2025. If we do not receive your balance on time your pitch may be sold to another trader on our waiting list and you may lose your deposit.
3 – Terms and Conditions
- By completing our application form and paying your ‘Trader Deposit’ you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to our ‘Trader Terms and Conditions’, ‘Trading Heads of Terms’ and ‘Green Trader Initiative Policy’ which are available as a downloadable PDF at the top of this page.
- All traders must provide a copy of their public & employers liability insurance certificate and
risk assessments. - All food traders must provide a copy of their food hygiene certificate or rating.
- A food hygiene inspector will be present on the day to ensure traders comply with regulation.
4 – Other Important Information
- There is a vehicle height restriction of 2.4m (8 foot), all vehicles must be under 2.4m otherwise you will not be able to access the site to unload. There is no other way into the festival site.
- The festival takes place on a sandy beach, so temporary parking bays are created using track mat for loading / unloading. You will need a team to help carry your equipment from the parking bay to your pitch. This could be up to 200m depending on the location of your pitch and the nature of your vehicle.
- Space is very limited so traders are required to book their load in time slot in advance. You will have one hour to unload your vehicle and remove it from the parking bay during load in and load out.
- You will be sent a link to the booking system upon confirmation of your pitch.
- Traders who require electric will need to book in advance using the application form below.
- For outside pitches you will need to bring your own strong wet and windy weather cover, which can be firmly fastened down on the beach. e.g. – self contained gazebo with weights and ropes.
- For indoor artisan pitches you will need to bring your own trestle table with you.
- If you need to bring a trailer to set up on the day, please request this in advance with your trailer dimensions and this will be confirmed ahead of the event by our Production Team.
- You must not exceed your booked space. Stewards will not permit extra space, under any circumstances. Extra space can be purchased if you are an over sized stall or vehicle.
- If you turn up on the day and exceed your booked space then we may have to move you to another space in a different area, subject to availability and you will be charged for the additional space.
- Your fee includes a listing on stivesfoodanddrinkfestival.co.uk
- We are not able to provide parking. There is no parking onsite. This includes disabled parking. The nearest public car park is St Ives Train Station. Postcode: TR26 2BH. Charges apply. Please allow time to have to find alternative parking as St Ives is short on spaces.
