The Food Village

Try Some of the Locals

The St Ives Food Village is a space to spotlight some of the best local restaurants.

Each restaurant pop-up is offering 3 signature dishes as small plates at affordable prices, so that you can try a bit of everything.

Led by Ben Prior, Porthminster Restaurant is one of Cornwall’s most iconic restaurants.

Ben continues the traditions and quality stamp of the last 30 years that have made Porthminster what it is today, taking advantage of the restaurant’s unique location helped by both the coastal kitchen garden and the local boats in St Ives’ still thriving harbour, as well as the fertile fields in the surrounding area.

Bringing fresh, local, sustainable seafood to the beach in St Ives, The Fish Shed offers contemporary, bold and inventive flavours with a unique cocktail and wine list to match.

Led by two-time National Chef of the Year, and South West Chef of the Year finalist, Fraser Bruce, you can find them at the west end of Porthmeor Beach in St Ives.

Led by Chef Patron Dorian Janmaat, Ardor is influenced by the food cultures of the Mediterranean. Serving authentic pintxos & tapas, the freshest Cornish seafood, and dry-aged cuts, cooked simply over charcoal in the heart of St. Ives, Cornwall.

Borgia Bull is a unique dining experience, a pop-up restaurant and event catering company in Cornwall, offering events, dinner parties, and private functions, founded by Rupert Cooper and his wife Sarah, known for their “unpretentious, big-flavored dishes” with a focus on fire, Basque, Catalan, and Mediterranean cuisines.

Serving up gourmet burgers, hand-cut fries, cocktails, crafts beers and more, Hub St Ives is a laidback place to chill out, meet your mates and eat some real dirty burgers. Prime cut or plant-based, for them it’s all about tasty food done the right way, making good times, really mean good.

They’re fiercely proud of the suppliers they work with – where it’s their rare breed high-welfare beef, or small-batch beers with a conscience.
