St Ives Food and Drink Festival cancelled for 2020 and will return 14-16th May 2021

It is with great sadness that the organisers of St Ives Food and Drink Festival must announce that our 2020 event, which was due to take place from 15-17th May, will be cancelled. The decision has been made amidst the current and ongoing situation with COVID-19.

Following the most recent government measures announced last week, we are very sorry to say that cancelling this year’s festival is our only viable option.

We have not taken this decision lightly, we are very aware that it is an important weekend in the life of the town and wider region and is a major opportunity for local food and drink producers, together with many chefs and musicians.

We hope you understand and respect our difficult decision to act now, thus reducing the amount of outlay by our audiences, chefs, sponsors, traders, suppliers and partners.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support, we’re looking forward to seeing you all on the beach next year.

All ticketholders will be automatically refunded, and traders, chefs, artists and speakers will be rebooked for the 2021 event.

Stay safe and we’ll see you in 2021.

We care about our environment

St Ives Food & Drink Festival is committed to our town and our beach site and we seek to manage and mitigate the negative impacts on our environment. We commit to ensuring recycling provision across the site, reducing plastic usage as much as possible, developing sustainable travel options, collaborating with like minded people and suppliers, and working with Cornish suppliers, businesses and producers. We seek to maximise the opportunities to create positive impact in the town and for our communities including involvement from local food & drink producers and suppliers, partnerships with local chefs and restaurants, promotion of the town as a whole, skills development opportunities for young people and performance opportunities for community groups.
