North Street Kitchen

Together with wife Hazel, Ethan runs North Street Kitchen in Fowey, an ultra-seasonal, seafood-led, sharing plates restaurant on the river.

Having spent the first years of his cooking career working around London, including spending some time at Brat, St John and Outlaws at the Capital, he moved down to Fowey to open and run Fitzroy in 2019 (now closed) and North Street Kitchen in 2020, taking over as owner in early 2024.

The restaurant focuses on simple dishes made from quality ingredients, bought directly from small-scale, sustainable fishermen and farmers, and has since been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand for two successive years, as well as Best Local Restaurant in the South West by the Good Food Guide in 2024.
