They’ll be popping up at the festival’s St Ives Food Village, with Antony and his team bringing a fresh, vibrant small plate menu offering delicious fish tacos, prawn fritters and Samphire pakora.
What made you want to be part of the St Ives Food & Drink Festival this year?
I have wanted Harbour View to be a part of the Food Festival for a while as it’s one of my favourite weekends of the year. This year feels like the perfect time to join the Food Village as we have really consolidated our offering over the years and feel proud of what we’re doing at the moment with a fantastic team across the kitchen and front of house.
Tell us about the dishes you’ll be serving in the Food Village.
My wife Georgia and I draw a lot of inspiration from surf towns around the world that we have travelled to and this feeds into much of what we do at Harbour View – the atmosphere, the design and the offering. Fish tacos are a staple meal in surf towns, fresh and delicious and a great way to use local fish in a fun way.
These snacks – our interpretation of the classic Andalusian dish known locally as ‘tortellitas de camarones’ – are a great little summer bite and we think will be perfect on the beach.
Finally, the samphire pakora. Naturally salty and lightly spiced here in a chickpea batter, these have been extremely popular on our menu recently and it would be lovely to showcase down at the festival.

Samphire is such a great Cornish ingredient. Why did you want to include it on the menu?
Our samphire pakoras are a fun way to celebrate a coastal ingredient that is often only used as a garnish or accompaniment. Here it’s the star and it works so well.
What can festivalgoers expect from the Harbour View House experience?
Fish tacos and sandy toes.

Why do you think events like the St Ives Food & Drink Festival are important for local hospitality businesses?
It’s a popular weekend and draws many visitors who stay in local accommodation and visit other local businesses when they are down for it. Porthminster Beach is a beautiful place to spend the day, and the festival is very well run with something for everyone.
And lastly, what’s your recommendation for people coming along to the festival this year?
Get up early and enjoy a walk on the beach before the crowds, it’s a lovely sight watching everyone set up before the day begins.
