Project Description

Tom Adams

Hailing from Pitt near Winchester, Tom Adams was building pits to barbecue pigs as early as 16 years old. With experience working at The Ledbury and under Jeremy Lee at The Blueprint Café, Tom and co-founder Jamie Berger formed Pitt Cue Co. setting up as a food trailer on London’s South Bank, serving their now famous pulled pork buns and pickleback cocktails. After the initial summer trading on the South Bank, Pitt Cue Co. opened a bricks-and-mortar restaurant in Soho in January 2012. In June 2013, Pitt Cue Co: The Cookbook (Mitchell Beazley) was published and last year Pitt Cue relocated to a new site on Devonshire Square. In 2016 Adams, along with old friend and renowned chef April Bloomfield, opened Coombeshead Farm, a 66 acre working farm, guesthouse and restaurant near Launceston, in Cornwall.
