Kathy is a food writer, supper club host and cookery teacher who grows her own ingredients from her home in the Cotswolds.
Kathy’s life in food began after 12 years as a brand strategist for London advertising agencies where the fun had been had and the rat race was taking its toll. Kathy quit and started her award-winning blog, Gluts & Gluttony, about the gluts she was growing on her allotment and the ensuing gluttony in the kitchen. She retrained as a cook and worked at Daylesford organic farm in Kingham, Gloucestershire, for 3 years before going full time on G&G. As well as hosting a monthly supper club featuring ingredients from her vegetable patch, she teaches cookery classes at home and at Borough Market in London and also writes about food for publications like Delicious, Simple Things and Crumbs. All her food celebrates seasonal, home grown ingredients – no foams, frills or frippery, just beautiful, simple food that Kathy has nurtured from plot to plate.
