After working in several Michelin starred restaurants in France and the UK, Grant moved to St Ives 30 years ago. He opening his own restaurant “Alba” in 2001. After closing the restaurant in 2018, Grant began a new venture with good friends and fellow chefs Mike Smith and Ben Prior as Head Chef at Dining @ 27, an 18 seater fine dining restaurant championing local produce with a 7 course tasting menu.
