COVID-19 AND KEEPING YOU SAFE

We have designed this year’s festival to allow more space, with all venues now being outdoors, so that everyone can still have an amazing time whilst also keeping you all as safe as possible.

COVID-19 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR MAIN FESTIVAL

As the festival is FREE to attend and open to all, we are not requiring you to prove your COVID status to attend the main festival but, for peace of mind and everyone’s safety, we do suggest that you take an NHS lateral flow test before you arrive.

If you get a positive NHS Lateral Flow Test result please do not come to the event and you must self-isolate in line with NHS advice.

COVID-19 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR EVENING MUSIC SESSIONS

If you are attending the ticketed Evening Music Sessions, you will be required to prove your COVID-19 status before entering the Lighthouse Stage area. Please see below for full information:

Following the Government’s latest guidance for events, we have had to implement some systems and policies regarding entry conditions and the NHS COVID Pass.

We apologise for any inconvenience that these measures may cause, but their implementation is vital to ensure the safety of our staff and attendees.

As per Government guidance, and consultation with Public Health, all ticket holders aged 11 and over will be required to demonstrate their COVID-19 status before entering the Lighthouse Stage area for the Evening Music Sessions at the festival by providing either:

1. Proof of Negative NHS Lateral Flow Test taken on the day of arrival at the festival. Please take the test prior to travelling and report the result with the NHS here.
OR
2. Proof of Double Vaccination: Both doses received, with the second at least 14 days prior to arriving at the festival.
We highly recommend that you take an NHS Lateral Flow Test prior to travelling to the festival regardless of your vaccination status.
OR
3. Proof of Natural Immunity based upon positive PCR result within 180 days of the festival (but following the 10 -day self-isolation period).
We highly recommend that you take an NHS Lateral Flow Test prior to travelling to the festival regardless of your immunity status.

TO GAIN ENTRY TO THE EVENING MUSIC SESSIONS YOU MUST SHOW EITHER A VALID NHS COVID PASS OR PROOF OF COVID STATUS OR TEXT/EMAIL CONFIRMATION OF NEGATIVE NHS LATERAL FLOW TEST

The NHS COVID Pass will be available through the NHS App (not to be confused with the NHS Track & Trace App), the NHS website, or as a letter that can be requested by ringing NHS 119. Visitors will also be able to show text or email confirmation of test results. For more information on how to do this, please click here.

If you are using the NHS COVID Pass, we recommend that you print, screenshot or download a copy of your NHS COVID Pass prior to arrival, so that you have it ready to show at the entrance gates.

Please note that you must be registered with a GP to use the app. Registering your identity with the app can take up to 24 hours in some cases and validating your COVID-19 Status up to 2 hours, so please do this in good time before you leave for the event.

If you cannot access your NHS COVID Pass or if you do not receive a vaccination status letter in time you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates.

Those aged 11 – 17 will need to present Proof of Negative NHS Lateral Flow Test (taken on the day of arrival at the festival, please take the test prior to traveling) to gain access to the festival.

Those aged under 11 are exempt and do not need to provide proof of their COVID-19 status to gain access to the festival.

NHS Lateral Flow Tests
Please note if you plan to obtain your NHS COVID Pass using an NHS Lateral Flow Test you must conduct this test at home and register the result before arriving at the festival. We will not be conducting testing at the gates and you will not be able to access the Evening Music Sessions without this pass.

Please Note: If you get a positive NHS Lateral Flow Test result you will NOT be able to enter the event and must self-isolate in line with NHS advice. We’re all in this together, and by abiding by these rules we can do this together.

We can’t wait to see you on the beach.

Thanks,

St Ives Food & Drink Festival Team
